How To Connect Amazon Ads Activity Log With INCRMNTAL

This article explains how to integrate your Amazon Ads account, allowing the INCRMNTAL platform to read any marketing activities performed in your account.

Tracking your marketing activities is key to INCRMNTAL’s ability to run uninterrupted, continuous, and accurate, incrementality measurements without any additional effort needed from you. Our platform detects marketing activities using changes in the conversion and cost data, as well as allowing you to manually input activities you performed. 

The most accurate method for us to track marketing activities is by connecting directly to the media platforms and ad networks you use for media buying. 

We created integrations into over 25 known ad networks and media buying platforms.

This article explains how to integrate your Facebook / Instagram account, allowing the INCRMNTAL platform to read any marketing activities performed in your account. 

An important note: Amazon Ads keeps historical spends for up to 90 days back. Hence, if this is your first integration, please provide to us the historical data (beyond the 90 days history since the dat of the connection) through a different method.

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Integrations in your INCRMNTAL dashboard
     
  2. Click the Amazon Ads Icon: amazon circle" Icon - Download for free – Iconduck
  3. Check the 'Activities' box. To enable pulling reporting as well, enable the Reporting toggle as well.
  4. Click 'New Authentication' 

Tip: You can also name your authentication in any name you like, under 'Adapter name'. You can also leave this blank.



5. In the Amazon Ads Authentication screen, sign into the Account you would like to grant access to

 


6. Click “Sign in”

 

By clicking the 'Edit' sign in the main activity detection screen, you'll be able to review and edit your authentication, i.e. enabling more accounts, and review the existing account under each authentication:

 

You can also test the authentication, by clicking the question mark icon on the right:

 

7. Click "Save" on the authentication screen on the dashboard

Re-authentication Amazon

  1. Go to the Activity Detection tab on your dashboard
  2. Click the re-authenticate button on your existing Amazon authentication, in the three-dot menu

  3. Click "Continue"

If you wish to replace an authenticated account, remove the existing authentication before connecting a new account to the board.
