This article explains the goals feature, and how you can utilize it to read Measurement results and get tailored Recommendations
The results feature was added to help simplify interpretation of results. You can setup multiple goals, and the platform will present you with the results for your measurement against your own benchmarks.
Setting goals will help you understand the measurements, and better plan the action that should be taken based on it.
Goals screen can be accessed through Dashboard > Configuration > Custom Goals
Note: Only Admin user roles can access this screen
Goal Types:
You can select different goals for each one of your brands.
Goals can be set for any of your KPIs available on the INCRMNTAL Platform, you can choose them from the dropdown menu:
- CPI = Cost per Conversion
- CPA = Cost per Action
- ROAS = Return on Ad Spend
- Custom Goal
Once you have selected your goal, you will be able to put the values in the opened fields. This goal will be set for all the countries, platforms and cohorts
Setting Goals per Country, Cohort and Platform
You can set multiple benchmarks per cohort, country, platform. To do so, click on Advanced target properties when you have selected your goal.
if you wish to set a benchmark only for the US, but not for the rest of the world, create one benchmark selecting the US, and another benchmark - not selecting any country
Please be advised, that when setting Goal in percentage, the values entered should be in decimals, i.e. if you wish to set up goal of 40%, enter 0.4 into the field.
Custom Goals:
Custom goals gives you maximum flexibility and the ability to select any parameter and create your own formula, choosing if this should be reflected as a number, currency, or percentage.
Goals Visualization and Recommendations based on Goals:
Once you've setup goals, every new measurement you'll run will present what was the impact of the activity measured over your goal benchmark. More over, the system will be able to give you recommendation based on your goal!
On the top of your KPI, you’ll find your goal benchmark and within the KPI box you will be able to see the Marginal (Additional) value you received for this KPI.
In the recommendation box there will be a recommendation prompt, that will help you to take a decision with an ease.
