How to Measure TV Advertising?

This article will explain how you can use the platform to measure the performance generated by TV Advertising activities.

This guide applies to customers with an Enterprise license

INCRMNTAL developed multiple causal models to measure the impact of TV advertising, allowing marketers to measure the impact of TV ad spend within minutes. 

TV ad spend (linear TV, Connect TV) can be integrated with INCRMNTAL dashboard in two ways:

  • Added to the dashboard as a manual activity (check out How to measure the impact of an External Activity)
  • Ad spend can be programmatically passed via your data integration (Applies to Enterprise License only), passing spend, country, date.
    Passing spend programmatically will allow the platform to automatically detect the start/stop and any changes in the TV advertising activities

How to Measure TV ?

  • Use the dashboard to find the TV activities you would like to measure
  • Click the activity and select “Measure”

The measurement should take a few minutes.

Understanding the results of TV Measurements


  • Results for a TV Measurement will look similar to all measurement results, showing the impact over the KPIs as shared by you

    We recommend reviewing the prediction model, enabling "Cost" to view the causal prediction against the change in ad spend.
