This article explains why conversions are invisible on the board, when you filter to a specific channel or campaign.
Have you just logged in for the first time to the dashboard?
Great! Welcome aboard. You must have some questions on the data you're seeing.
We've broken down the FAQ we get from new customers on different features on the platform, to make sure they're all answered early on - Even before the official onboarding call with the team.
Users filtering the dashboard, sometimes expect to see the installs/conversions attributed to the channel or campaigns filtered with the board, like so:
If you are unable to see your conversions when filtering to a specific entity (as seen in the screenshots below), don't worry! This is due to the data structure that's integrated into our platform.
Clients can send us data that's either attributed (i.e. presents installs per day, channel, campaign, country, OS), or unattributed (i.e. presenting total installs for each day, country, and OS).
In cases where attributed data is integrated, we'll be able to present in the main dashboard the attributed installs or revenue to each entity.
Here's how the data would look like for such a presentation:
When data is unattributed, we're unable to "link" the conversions to the channel or campaign from which they were generated - Hence, in those cases, data will be presented as organic and hence, will not be presented when filtering to a specific entity.
