How to Integrate Offline Spends to your INCRMNTAL dashboard

The following article explains how to integrate offline spends with INCRMNTAL

Offline ad spend such as influencers, TV, OOH, and so on, can be easily integrated with INCRMNTAL, allowing you to measure the incremental impact of such marketing channels. 

The process is very simple, thanks to the flexibility of the the INCRMNTAL platform and the ability to process data from multiple sources without any need to "match" between the ad spend and the sales data.

Typically, customers will integrate offline ad spend using Google Sheets or files being dumped to a shared S3 bucket. Below is an explanation on what types of data should be included:

There are two main formatting for offline ad spend data that we typically see. If your data is formatted differently, reach out to us at onboarding@incrmntal.com and we'll gladly support you.

Ad Spend Data Available by Date

Data required:

  • Date
  • Channel name
  • Campaign (optional)
  • Country
  • Spend 
  • Conversions (optional)

Note about column names: You may utilize whatever naming you would like. Please specify the column names during your integration process. While you may move columns - please do not rename columns, as that will break the integration.

 

Ad Spend Data Not Available by Date

The platform can also handle floating dates, where your data would state only the start date, end date, and the ad spend across your different channels

This method can work for OOH campaigns, TV, Radio, and so on.  


Country or Language ?

Influencer marketing activities may influence your marketing performance in several countries. For example - a German speaking influencer, may cause your sales to increase in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

INCRMNTAL's integration supports multi-region or language ad spend distribution, allowing you to measure the impact of multi-region cmapaigns across the relevant countries they impact.

If you want the platform to distribute the ad spend by country based on language - the platform can do this based on the proportional amount of conversions you have per country, OR, based on a breakdown provided by you (available for Enterprise license types only)

    Data update Frequency

    The INCRMNTAL platform supports a continuous data overwrite. So if you're updating your offline spends data - the platform will handle the overwrite.

    Same goes for mistakes - if you had accidently typed "$10000" spend where you meant to type "$1000" - the platform will overwrite the data during the next day
